"The ASES Asia traveling fellowship is an unmatched opportunity to learn from and share ideas with thought leaders in Japan, South Korea and China. I came away with a new depth of understanding in countless areas of shoulder and elbow care. Most importantly, the friendships made along the way will foster a path of continued information exchange moving forward."
Paul Cagle, MD2024 Fellow
"A traveling fellowship is such a golden opportunity to step away from your own practice and watch other expert surgeons operate. The Asian traveling fellowship gives a unique perspective that can't be replicated with an online course. I think about this experience every day and the lessons learned are blended into my own personal tapestry in how I treat patients and perform research."
Mohit Gilotra, MD2024 Fellow
"My participation in the ASES Asian Exchange Program was truly transformative. The opportunity to engage with some of the world's leading experts in Asia provided invaluable insights into cutting-edge innovations in soft tissue techniques, particularly in arthroscopy around the shoulder. Their dedication to advancing the field continues to set new standards in patient care and surgical excellence. The knowledge and skills I gained have profoundly influenced my own practice, leading to meaningful changes that benefit my patients. Beyond professional growth, I deeply appreciate the lifelong relationships I have built through this exchange. It was an honor to be among the first exchange fellows from the United States, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to and learn from this esteemed global community."
