Host a 2027 National Shoulder and Elbow Week Event

The ASES Foundation invites you to host a 2027 National Shoulder & Elbow Week (NSEW) event May 17-22, 2027 and be part of a growing national movement dedicated to raising awareness and advancing shoulder and elbow care.

What is the Impact of National Shoulder and Elbow Week? 

Since its creation in 2021, the Foundation has hosted 51 National Shoulder & Elbow Week events, which have become a powerful platform to:

  • Build Local Community: Engages your local community of surgeons, patients, community leaders and industry in discussions about the importance of shoulder and elbow health.
  • Support Research & Innovation: The ASES Foundation has provided $743,179 in grants, supporting 56 LOCAL research projects led by surgeons who have organized these impactful events.
  • Support the Foundation’s Programs: Whether supporting education, research, or early career a part of the net proceeds supports the ASES Foundation’s mission.
  • Expand National Impact: Elevate shoulder and elbow care and the ASES Foundation into a national level public health campaign.

What is the Benefit to You for Hosting?

Past hosts have great stories and memories of leading a National Shoulder and Elbow Week event and especially appreciate its impact on them personally and professionally. 

  • NSEW Grant: 50% of your net fundraising becomes available for you as the host and members from your planning subcommittee, who have been active in planning or executing the event, to apply for a local grant to support their research, education, or event.

  • Building and leading a planning committee

  • Collaborating with ASES staff, event planning, and sponsorship consultants
  • Engaging and inviting your local community
  • Cultivating local sponsorship support
  • Delegating strategically to ensure a smooth, successful event
