Description
Join us for a fun evening of food, fundraising, and education at the iconic WWII Museum honoring the world-renowned Dr. James Andrews (guest of honor). Agenda items include talks on the evolution of orthopaedic surgery from WWII era to today, preventing shoulder injuries in youth sports, a testimonial from former LSU standout and retired MLB All-star and World Series Pitcher, Will Harris, and a Q&A session with Dr. James Andrews emphasizing youth sports, NIL, etc. All proceeds go to the ASES Foundation to help fund shoulder fellowship programs and provide funding for research to ultimately better provide patients with the highest level of shoulder care.

Agenda:
6:00PM – Arrivals; Opening Networking Reception; cocktail hour; industry/sponsor exhibits
6:50PM – Encourage guests to get their dinner and drinks (buffet style dinner/food stations)
7:05PM – Welcome and opening remarks; ASES Foundation video presentation. ASES Foundation Mission.
7:05-7:15PM – Honoring our mentors (presentation by host/host committee)
7:15-7:25PM – Dr. Mark Mighell presentation on Orthopaedic/Shoulder Surgery: Then (WWII era) and Now
7:25-7:40PM – Dustin Dixon PT presentation on preventing shoulder injuries in youth athletes
7:40-7:50PM – Will Harris (former LSU baseball standout, MLB pitcher (including World Series) and Louisiana native) to speak on importance of ASES quality shoulder and elbow
7:50PM – Introduction of keynote speaker
7:55PM – 8:30PM – Dr. James Andrews; Q&A session with dual moderators (orthopaedic surgeon and lay person/audience)
     Focus areas:
           •Youth sports
           •NIL
           •Difficult decisions
           •Famous Nola quarterback injury
8:30-8:45PM – Coffee, after dinner drinks, and Dessert (New Orleans Style)
8:45-8:50PM – Tribute to sponsors; raffle winners
8:50-9PM – Ending reception and mingling amongst guests.
